Lutron's Maestro IR dimmer switch and remote provide the convenience of adjusting your lights from anywhere in the room, up to 30ft. away. This dimmer/remote kit offers a range of features, including the ability to turn your lights on/off, as well as brighten or dim them from the IR Remote. Additionally, you can recall your favorite lighting level with the touch of a button on the remote.

The Maestro IR dimmer switch includes all the features of a Maestro dimmer switch, such as the delayed fade-to-off function. The indicator lights on the dimmer display the current light level and glow softly in the dark, making it easy to locate the control.

This dimmer works with up to 600-Watt of incandescent or halogen bulbs and is designed for use in single-pole applications. It is not compatible with CFL or LED bulbs. For dimming LEDs, Lutron recommends the Caseta Dimmer Switch with Remote Control Kit.

The kit includes one Maestro IR Dimmer, one IR remote, and one coordinating wallplate. The remote allows you to control your lighting fixtures from up to 30ft. away, as long as it is in line of sight with the dimmer.
