Lutron Caseta Smart Lighting Dimmer Switch ELV+, Works with Alexa, Apple Homekit, Google Home (Hub Required)

The Lutron Caseta ELV+ dimmer brings both technology and style to your home. Caseta by Lutron allows you to control your lights from anywhere within your home using the Pico remote control (sold separately) or from anywhere with your mobile device via the free app and Lutron Caseta Smart Hub (also sold separately).

The Caseta ELV+ Dimmer features a new preset button for added convenience, allowing you to recall your favorite light level. It is designed to control a variety of load types: 500-Watt of incandescent, halogen or electronic low-voltage, 400-Watt of magnetic low-voltage, and 250-Watt of dimmable LED or dimmable CFL (neutral wire connection and 10-Watt minimum load required for all load types). The dimmer comes pre-set to control ELV, incandescent, halogen, and many compatible LEDs, but the phase-selective output can be changed for MLV and certain LED bulbs with simple button press programming.

The Caseta ELV+ dimmer is an excellent solution for LED fixtures with integrated, built-in drivers, ELV track lights, and problematic LEDs that may perform better with an ELV dimmer. For a multi-location application, you can replace the existing switch with a Pico remote control and wall plate adapter (both sold separately). Please note that the wall plate for the dimmer is also sold separately.

Installing the dimmer is an easy process, taking as little as 15 minutes to replace your existing switch. Importantly, a neutral wire is required for installation.

The Caseta ELV+ dimmer provides smart dimming control for your track lighting, recessed lighting, or any other application involving electronic low voltage (ELV) fixtures. To enable smart control, a smart hub (L-BDG2-WH) is required.

For peace of mind, you can set your lights to automatically adjust with the seasons, ensuring your family always returns to a well-lit home. The smart away feature randomly turns your lights on and off, making it appear as if you're home even when you're away (Caseta Smart Hub, L-BDG2-WH, required).

Caseta connects with more leading smart home devices than any other smart lighting control brand, including Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, the Google Assistant, Ring, Serena shades, and Sonos (Caseta Smart Hub required).

The Caseta dimmer puts the smarts in the switch, allowing you to control your ceiling fan through the app, with your voice, or from the wall. You can create schedules that set your fan to a specific speed or activate a scene with the press of a button (smart hub required).

One Caseta smart switch can control multiple bulbs, making many of your existing bulbs smart, including dimmable LED, incandescent, and halogen varieties. This allows you to get smart control for less.

For added convenience, use the wireless Pico remote (PJ2-3BRL-GXX-L01) to turn your lights on, off, or dim and brighten them with the touch of a button from anywhere in the home.

Creating a 3-way setup is easy, as you can mount the Pico to almost any wall surface without cutting holes or pulling wire, using a wall mount bracket (PICO-WBX-ADAPT sold separately). You can also replace existing 3-way switches by mounting the bracket and Pico over the backbox.

Technically, the Caseta ELV+ dimmer works with up to 250W of dimmable LED/CFL, 500W of incandescent/halogen or ELV, or 400W MLV, with a 10W minimum load required.
