Lutron Caseta Smart Lighting Claro Smart Switch for Lights and Fans

The Claro smart switch for Caséta smart lighting and a coordinating Claro wallplate are included. Caséta allows you to always come back to a well-lit home; you can enable the smart away feature to randomly turn your lights on and off, making it seem like you're home even when you're not (smart hub, L-BDG2-WH, required; sold separately).

Lutron's most popular switch design is now smart, featuring the well-loved design of Claro switches that matches existing paddle style dimmers and switches for a classic look throughout any home. Caséta connects with more leading smart home devices – including Alexa, Apple Home, the Google Assistant, Ring, and SONOS – than any other smart lighting control brand (smart hub required, sold separately).

The smart switch works with 5A LED or 3A fan, and a neutral wire is required. The smart hub provides an ultra-reliable and responsive local network for your lighting system, with simple setup via a single button press that works even when your Wi-Fi goes down.

Caséta puts the smarts in the switch, allowing you to control your lights in a variety of ways – via the free Lutron app, your voice, or from the wall (smart hub, sold separately, required for app or voice control). The switch is ideal for areas where dimming is not needed, such as garage or outdoor porch lights.

You can create a 3-way setup with your Claro smart switch by mounting a Pico remote/wallmount bracket to almost any surface, without cutting holes or pulling wire (both sold separately); you can also use it with a Claro smart accessory (DVRF-AS-WH). The updated Claro aesthetic matches existing Caséta devices in your home, and the LED light indicator on the right side of the switch adds a soft glow when the lights are activated.
